Kirkwood launched an intense promotional campaign to raise awareness for this loft project whose sales suffered due to a "b" location, an undifferentiated product, and unfocused marketing. Kirkwood developed, organized, and implemented a series of promotional events that increased visitor traffic to the sales center by more than 100% in just five months.

With FashionMix 2006, Kirkwood built the brand by attracting over 350 visitors to the sales center, establishing a 60-store merchant marketing network, and obtaining front page newspaper and television coverage. Other event themes included a Holiday Gift Wrapping-Hot Chocolate Party, a Super Bowl Decor Open House, and a Gay-Lesbian Business Networking Event.
